Apologetics
Apologetics comes for the Greek word apologia, meaning “speaking in defense” or “a verbal defense”. Christian Apologetics is the field of Christian Theology which answers questions about the Christian faith, and defends the faith against the heretical views of various opponents. Thus, a Christian Apologist expounds and defends the truth of Christianity, while pointing out the flaws of other worldviews.
